Caroline Heslop is a composer of music for theatre, and film working in London. Since completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Composing for Film at the London Film School in 2008, she has worked as composer/musical director on a production of Sophocles Antigone for the Edmund Kean Theatre in Twickenham, a movement in theatre project at The Place and has recently completed a short film with photographer/film maker Jason Shenai. A versatile artist, Caroline has composed a variety of vocal, instrumental and choral works for the concert hall in which she combines her expertise as composer and lyricist/librettist. An experienced pianist and conductor, Caroline studied piano in London from the age of 8 and began composing in her teens going on to study music at York University. With a number of post graduate degrees in performance, music education and composition, Caroline has combined a career as music journalist, teacher and composer for many years.
